Continuing Mediation Education

The Dispute Resolution Center has identified additional free CME courses as resources for mediators.  Here is a link to our latest Free CME GuidePDF Download which includes the recording link for "Mediator Ethics, Professionalism, and Discipline" offered by the Florida Dispute Resolution Center, December 2022.  The program is worth 1.0 hour of mediator ethics. The Florida Bar has approved the program for 1.0 hour of legal ethics, course number #2208434N. CLE availability ends June 30, 2024. 

Mediator Ethics: We Are Headed to a Disciplinary Hearing Panel - The Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) presents a mock mediator disciplinary hearing (i.e., a trial) to determine if a certified family mediator who has been formally charged by the Florida Supreme Court’s Mediator Qualification and Discipline Review Board (Board) will be disciplined, and if so, what sanctions will be imposed. The presentation is facilitated by the DRC.
